Our Worship Emphasis 6/15 & 6/16: The Christian life is a life of repentance. Repentance is a “change of mind” about one’s sin. Sin is not seen as something we excuse because we are human; rather, we see it for its damning consequences. The Scripture uses repentance in two senses: 1) godly sadness for our sins and sincere desire to stop sinning; and 2) sorrow over sins and desire to stop and faith in the forgiveness of sins. Only the Word of God can produce true repentance. Therefore, we gather around the Lord’s Word today. May he lead us to true repentance! May he also accept the prayers and praises of his children!
Welcome Visitors! We are delighted that you are with us today! May the Holy Spirit refresh your faith with his word and fill you with zeal to serve him!
